2007-2008 Varsity Football Season - Cy-Fair Bobcat Alumni Forums

Come out and support the Cats this 2007-2008 season at the new Berry Center on Barker Cypress. The Bobcats should have another outstanding team this year, and are expected to make another impressive playoff run.

Last year was definately a season to remember with the Bobcats going to the regional finals before losing by one point to Pearland 16-15.

The 2007-2008 season starts off with what should be an exciting matchup with the Stratford Spartans Aug. 31st, 2007 7:30 PM at Tully Stadium.

Go Bobcats!!

That would depend on our final ranking in district play. Either way it will be a Katy ISD school.

As it looks, Cy-Ridge & Cy-Fair are projected to be the top 2 teams in 17-5A this year, and Katy is already #3 in the state at this point and will probably be playing in the D-II playoff bracket but don't quote me on that just yet.

Other Katy schools in the running for second should be Katy Taylor, Cinco Ranch, and possibly Elsik.

*I made an error on the dates for some of the times & dates on the schedule, but they are updated and correct now. The Cy-Fair vs. Cy-Falls game will be held on Thurs night (TBA) and will be televised on ESPN2.

I'll be posting here as the season begins.

***The Stratford game has been rescheduled due to it moving to a nationally televised event date per UIL rules. The game will most likely be moved to (Thursday) evening.. time: TBA. The game will be televised on (FSN).

Cy-Fair Varisty Football will continue in the playoffs as they meet Katy Cinco Ranch: Friday, Nov-16th, 7:30pm, The Berry Center. Cy-Fair will be (Home) in this playoff match.

Cy-Fair will be playing in the 5A Region-III, Div-1 playoff bracket along with the 17-5A Champion Cy-Ridge Rams

The Div-II playoff representatives for 17-5A are; Cy-Falls Golder Eagles, & Strake Jesuit Crusaders.
